Before its release, there have been significant leaks about the TicWatch Pro 5 by Mobvoi, which is the first smartwatch running on Wear OS and equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip. The watch is offered in Obsidian black and comes with 24mm bands, while its display is protected by Gorilla Glass and features knurling around it. Positioned on the right edge of the watch is a rotating crown that has a button located just above it, which is reminiscent of the Pixel Watch.
Featuring a “1.43” Round Dual-layer Display 2.0″ that combines OLED with a “Customized Dynamic Colorful Backlight FSTN Screen,” the TicWatch Pro 5 is equipped with a powerful 611mAh battery that offers an extended battery life of up to 80 hours in “Smart Mode” and up to 45 days in “Essential Mode.” Additionally, the watch supports fast charging and can provide a 65% charge in just 30 minutes.
The TicWatch Pro 5 runs on the 4nm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip, and is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It runs on “The Latest Version of Wear OS by Google.” The smartwatch is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, GPS + Beidou + Glonass + Galileo + QZSS, and a compass app. It also has a barometer and supports fitness tracking with more than 100 professional workout modes, VO2 Max, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking.
The smartwatch is water-resistant with a 5ATM rating and has US-MIL-STD 810H certification. The device comes with a proprietary charging cable and Google Pay is available on it. However, there is no information available regarding the price or release date of the TicWatch Pro 5.
