Smartwatch Tips and Tricks: Altering Wrist Placement and Orientation

It’s often recommended to wear a watch on your non-dominant wrist, which can be a challenge for left-handed individuals who may require custom-made watches. However, unlike traditional watches, smartwatches offer the convenience of software that allows you to wear them “upside-down” and change the orientation and key side whenever you want.

Typically, you can choose this setting during the initial setup of your smartwatch. If you selected the wrong option or want to switch things up, modifying the wrist and orientation settings is usually straightforward if you know where to go. In the following sections, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions on how to adjust the wrist and orientation settings for popular smartwatch brands like the Galaxy Watch, Apple Watch, Pixel Watch, and others.
