Sinking the center of a dial below its outer ring is an old piece of watchmaking, done because a dial made in two pieces has a depth that a printed one never achieves, and because it separates the hour reading from the space the hands occupy. This design reproduces that construction. The numerals sit on the raised outer level with a fine minute track just inside them, and the center drops away into a recessed panel. Slim tapered hands with pale inlays read across it, a date window sits at 3 o'clock, and there are no complication slots. Six color variants: blue, mustard, green, red, gray and black.
