Warm copper against a dark ground that deepens toward the edge. Roman numerals hold the quarters, long batons fill the rest, and the whole dial glows rather than shines. The inner chapter ring keeps its fine white minute track at a polite distance from everything else, so the dial reads as precise without looking busy. The hands carry pale inlays down their length, and the seconds hand is balanced at the center by a small cross, which is the sort of detail nobody notices and everybody would miss.
