This design borrows from the mid-century dress watch: gilt printing on a dark dial, generously spaced Arabic numerals, and slim leaf-shaped hands that taper to a point. It is the kind of dial that was made to be read at a glance across a table, not studied. The complications are the traditional ones. A weekday dial sits to the left of center, a 24-hour dial to the right, and a date window opens at 6 o'clock. All three are fixed parts of the dial rather than complication slots, exactly as they would be on a mechanical watch.
