CELEST Watches ("we", "us", or "our") develops Wear OS watch faces and Android utility apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data across all CELEST products.
Our Core Principle: We don't collect your data. Everything stays on your device.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell:
- Personal information
- Location history
- Health or fitness data
- Usage analytics
- Device identifiers
We have no servers that receive your data. We have no accounts, no cloud sync, no tracking.
Data Accessed Locally by Our Apps
Some of our apps access device sensors or services to provide functionality. This data is processed only on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
RideLog — Location Data
RideLog accesses your device's GPS to provide ride tracking functionality:
- Foreground location — to track speed, distance, and route while you actively use the app
- Background location — to continue tracking when the screen is off or you're using other apps, and to enable automatic ride detection
All ride data (routes, speeds, distances, timestamps) is stored locally on your device only. We never receive, access, or transmit your location data. You have full control:
- View and delete individual rides within the app
- Export rides to GPX format for personal use
- Delete all data via app settings
- Uninstall the app to remove all stored data
Other Android Apps
Our other utility apps (FocusClock, IF Timer, DotDotDash, BreakFree, Mini Reader, Counter Widget, Simple Interval Timer, Névnapp) do not access location, health data, or any sensitive permissions. Any app data (timers, settings, reading progress, etc.) is stored locally on your device only.
Third-Party Services
Google Play may collect usage statistics and crash reports through its own systems. This data is handled by Google according to their Privacy Policy. We do not have access to data that identifies individual users.
Your Choices
You can manage data access at any time:
- Revoke location or sensor permissions in your device settings
- Delete app data within individual apps
- Uninstall any app to remove all associated data
Since we don't store your data on any server, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Children's Privacy
Our apps do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we don't collect data from anyone, this applies equally to all users.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our apps. The effective date at the top indicates the latest revision.
