Huawei Watch GT 6 Gets a Fresh Mint Green Makeover for Spring
Huawei has officially added a Mint Green variant to the Watch GT 6 lineup. Available exclusively in the 41mm size, the new colorway went on sale March 6, 2026, through Huawei's VMall store at 1,488 yuan (roughly €190), with an optional Huawei Care+ plan for 99 yuan extra.
The launch wasn't entirely unexpected — an unboxing video leaked days earlier, showing the matte green finish with a matching strap on the familiar round dial. But the official reveal confirms what many suspected: Huawei is leaning into seasonal color drops to keep its wearable lineup fresh without a hardware revision.
Same Watch, New Personality
Under the green exterior, the specs are unchanged from the existing 41mm model. You still get a 1.32-inch AMOLED display at 466 × 466 pixels, 64GB of storage, HarmonyOS 6, and Huawei's TruSense health system covering heart rate, SpO2, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and nearly 100 sport modes.
Battery life remains one of the GT 6's strongest selling points: up to 14 days in power-saving mode or around 7 days with typical use, thanks to a high-silicon stacked battery that Huawei says delivers 37% better energy density than previous designs. The watch also supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC payments, and dual-band GNSS positioning, all wrapped in a 5 ATM and IP68 rated package.

Why Mint Green, Why Now?
The color choice is no accident. Mint green is one of 2026's defining shades across fashion and design. WGSN and Coloro named "Jelly Mint" among their five key colors for Spring/Summer 2026, calling it playful and optimistic. Pantone's companion palette for the year includes "Veiled Vista," a refreshing mint tone. On fashion runways from New York to Milan, pastel greens have been everywhere this season.
The watch world has caught on too. At Watches and Wonders 2025, green dials — pistachio, sage, mint — were among the biggest visual trends, even on luxury timepieces. Huawei's Mint Green GT 6 sits right at the intersection: a tech product that doubles as a deliberate style statement in exactly the right color at the right moment.
Worth a Look?
By limiting this shade to the 41mm model — the one with the rounder, more elegant case — Huawei is targeting buyers who see their smartwatch as a fashion piece first. It's a proven retail playbook: refresh the line with a seasonal color, create a new marketing hook, and give potential buyers a reason to take another look without engineering a new product.
The usual GT 6 caveats still apply: the HarmonyOS app ecosystem is smaller than Wear OS or watchOS, and the 41mm model lacks ECG. But if multi-day battery life, accurate health sensors, and clean design matter more to you than app selection, the Watch GT 6 remains a strong option — and Mint Green gives it the personality it was arguably missing.
No word yet on international availability, but Huawei typically rolls popular China-first colorways out to global markets within weeks.
