The second-generation Citizen CZ Smart smartwatch, which was revealed earlier this year, is currently available for pre-order at a starting price of $350. The new model of the Citizen CZ Smart smartwatch incorporates Google’s Wear OS 3 reboot and offers a tailored smartwatch experience that prioritizes self-care. The watch’s various sensors gather data that is utilized by the “YouQ” application, which offers personalized suggestions and insights to assist wearers in anticipating and managing patterns of fatigue and alertness.
According to sources, the Citizen CZ Smart smartwatch runs on Fossil’s Gen 6 platform, which includes the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. It also boasts a 24-hour battery life that can be quickly recharged, and comes in two sizes, 41mm and 44mm.
Citizen has announced the start of pre-orders for its second-generation CZ Smart smartwatch lineup, which includes the Casual and Sport options. While pre-orders were briefly available on Amazon in January with a planned March launch, the watch experienced further delays that were not publicly announced by Citizen. As of April 17, pre-orders are now open on Citizen’s website, but the watch is still marked as “unavailable” on Amazon. The CZ Smart PQ2 Casual, which comes with a 41mm watch and a silicone band, is the most affordable option at $350. On the other hand, the CZ Smart PQ2 Sport, which is available in a 44mm size with a gray stainless steel band, is the most expensive at $435. All watches that come with a metal band also have a matching watch body.
Just to reiterate, Citizen has started accepting pre-orders this week, and shipping will commence on May 1. By placing a pre-order, you will also receive a complimentary black leather band.
