Samsung releases durable “Rugged Sport” band for its Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 series

Samsung has released the “Galaxy Watch Rugged Sport Band,” featuring a thick, flexible design with a ripple pattern. The band is constructed from fluoroelastomer, the same material used for Google’s Pixel Watch and Apple Watch bands. The buckle clasp has a unique design that keeps the excess band inside the loop.

This durable band is perfect for your active lifestyle, providing long-lasting endurance with its added thickness and texture. It is available in black and white/grey in small/medium and medium/large sizes. Samsung has hinted at green and taupe color options, but they are not yet available for purchase.

The band is priced at $49.99 and is compatible with the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 via traditional spring pin connectors. While slightly more expensive than Samsung’s regular sport band, it remains one of the more affordable official band options.
