Long before clocks had faces, time was measured in the margins of hand-painted books. This design draws directly from that medieval world: gilded baton markers, Roman numerals at twelve and six, and slender leaf-shaped gold hands set against a scene inspired by the pages of an illuminated manuscript. At the heart of the dial, a knight faces an unlikely foe—a man-sized rabbit—capturing the strange, playful spirit of medieval marginalia, where the ordinary and the absurd often shared the same page.
