Google has rolled out an intriguing new update for the Pixel Watch. Even when the battery is drained and the low-battery indicator is flashing, users can press the crown to view the time in digital format. The update is being distributed to all Pixel Watch models running Wear OS 3.5, with the rollout having begun yesterday and continuing to be pushed out gradually based on carrier. Users will receive a notification once the OTA update becomes available for their device.
Along with the ability to display the time with a dead battery, the update allows users to rotate the crown to wake the watch, in addition to waking it by pressing the button, tapping the watch, or tilting it. The touchscreen sensitivity has been fine-tuned, and numerous bug fixes and enhancements have been added to improve the Pixel Watch experience.
