About Us

Born from real watches

CELEST exists because of a simple frustration. We collected watches – field watches, retro LCDs, anything with character and restraint – long before we ever strapped on a smartwatch. When we finally did, nothing on the screen matched what we loved on our wrists. So we made our own. One watch face for personal use turned into a hobby, and the hobby turned into this.

Many styles, one standard

We don’t believe a single aesthetic fits every wrist or every mood. Our catalog spans traditional analog faces inspired by real horology, retro digital designs with vintage LCD charm, modern digital layouts built for today’s screens, experimental pieces that push what a watch face can be, and fun thematic designs that don’t take themselves too seriously. The style changes – the commitment to quality and readability doesn’t.

Our design principles

Clarity over clutter. A watch face should tell you the time at a glance. We don’t cram every metric onto a tiny screen just because we can. Every element earns its place on the dial, or it doesn’t make the cut.

Harmony matters. Good design isn’t about individual parts – it’s about how they work together. Colors, typography, complications, layout: everything has to feel like it belongs.

Honesty in craft. We draw inspiration from real watchmaking. Not to imitate, but because decades of horological design got a lot of things right about readability, proportion, and beauty. We’d be foolish to ignore that.

Simplicity is hard. We aim for it every time. Sometimes we miss. But we’d rather fail reaching for simplicity than succeed at making visual noise.

How we do business

Fair pricing. Our prices reflect real work, not inflated margins. We need the income to keep creating – but we also believe in treating people right.

One purpose, done well. This applies to our watch faces and to our standalone Android apps. No feature bloat, no lifestyle platform ambitions. Tools that do what they promise.

We fix what’s broken. If you report a problem, we take it seriously and act fast. You paid for something that works – we intend to deliver.
